1. Who we are

DormToDoor ("we", "us") provides door-to-door storage pickup, warehousing, and retrieval services. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

2. Information we collect

Contact info: name, email, phone number, pickup/delivery address.

User content: photos of items you store, support messages you send us.

Identifiers: account user ID.

Usage data: bookings, items stored, retrieval history.

Approximate location: used to determine service area (city-level only).

Diagnostics: crash and performance data to keep the app stable.

Payment info: handled directly by Stripe - we never see or store full card numbers.

3. How we use your information

Schedule and fulfill storage pickups, retrievals, and deliveries
Manage your account and bookings
Process payments through Stripe
Communicate about your bookings, account, and support requests
Improve app reliability and customer experience

4. Tracking

We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers required to operate the service: Stripe (payments), our cloud backend (data storage), and our pickup/warehouse staff (to fulfill your booking). We do not sell personal data.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and booking data for as long as your account is active, plus the period required for tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest in our backend. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Email us at privacy@storageconciergeco.com and we'll respond within 30 days. EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR; California residents have rights under CCPA.

9. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
